Description: An original pencil drawing on paper by Henry Matthew Brock RI (1875-1960). In 1898 Henry Brock provided the illustrations for J.M.Dent's publication of Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice, Mansfield Park & Northanger Abbey (his brother Charles illustrated the other titles in the set). It's possible that the picture on offer here is a preliminary sketch for one of the books. Further examples of Henry Brock's work can be found on Chris Beetles website. Condition: Please study the photos carefully for condition.Tear at bottom edge and chips to other edges, fold marks and stains to page (please see photos). POSTAGE: Happy to combine postage.
