Description: An original, vintage photograph of author Jack London (1876-1916) circa 1909. The photo was supplied by his publisher, The Macmillan Company, to promote the release of his novel Martin Eden in September, 1909. Quite scarce, especially coming from the publisher. Photo was professionally matted many years ago. Reverse top edge of photo is lightly glued to matte. Two small stains to bottom of matte, but not affecting photo. Photo measures 3 3/4 x 5 1/4 inches. Matte measures 11 x 14 inches. Ready for the frame of your choice! Photo shows creasing but is in overall very good condition. Please see photos.
