Description: 3 Pieces AAA Grade Bearing Balls for Kensington TrackballIncludes One Bearing Removal ToolMain Photo Gallery shows the Bearings at Significant MagnificationBearings Will be Packed in a small glass vial to prevent damageKensington Expert SlimBlade Orbit Trackball Replacement Silicon Bearing Balls AAA Grade Silicon NitrideCaution: Not all Silicon Balls from other suppliers are AAA GradeAAA Grade Indicates Highly Polished and Precision DiameterHighly Polished for Smooth Operation and Rotation Images shown Are for the Kensington Expert Only, the removal process for the Kensignton SlimBlade is entirely different. Silicon Nitride has a significantly lower coefficient of friction than The Stock Kensington Ruby Bearings. In addition, Silicon Bearings have very low Stiction (Characteristic of start-and-stop–type motion as a force overcomes static friction).Silicon Nitride is also extremely hard. Therefore, Silicon bearing balls will exhibit less wear and don't tend to accumulate debris material on their surface like Kensington Stock ruby balls. Kensington Trackball Mouse IS NOT included With the required regular cleaning of your Trackball Mouse to maintain smooth operation, it is just a matter of time when you will lose one or more of your trackball bearings. They are held loosely captive and even cleaning them with a Q-Tip can dislodge them and fall to the floor and be lost into oblivion. While one or more of these Silicon Bearings can be used in conjunction with the Red Ruby Bearings, it is always best to replace all three to prevent any uneven wear and for the smoothest rotation. All three Silicon Nitride bearings are included for an entire upgrade.Designed to fit very precisely. All of the Bearings are Highest Grade and considered the smoothest of all bearings. An easy way to get the old ones out is to use the Included Bearing Removal Tool and gently pry up precisely from the bottom edge of each ball inside the cup. If the Ball doesn't come out easily, you are most likely pushing against the bottom edge of the cup. The Balls have a tendency to spring out when they are released from the cup, so be careful not to lose the ball if you want to save the old bearings. Once you get the old ones out, set the new Bearing on the top of the cup. Then push down with your index finger and very gently apply pressure until you hear or feel the Bearing click into place. Repeat this removal and installation procedure for the other cups. For: Kensington ExpertKensington Expert Trackball Mouse (K64325)Kensington OrbitKensington SlimBlade
