AUS-10 - Japanese stainless steel, often compared to 440C series steel, and for good reason, as the compositions are similar, but these minor differences make AUS-10 harder (hardened usually to around 60 HRC) and dulls more slowly, without losing its rust resistance. Knives made of this steel are relatively cheap and will be a great choice if our budget is not too high and we care about stainless. Blade - tanto point type, finished masking minor scratches and anti-glare with Stonewashed. For ease of sharpening, the beginning of the cutting edge starts with a small choil. A mixed grind is used here, in the rear part is a high, concave grind for cutting and precision work, the so-called Hollow Ground Primary Bevel. In the front part we have a high Flat Ground reinforcing tip grind. To improve piercing capabilities, an unsharpened false blade is brought out in the upper part. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. Handle - made of black G10 (pressure-pressed fiberglass with synthetic resin) textured to improve grip security, screwed directly to the tang. On the front a striking screw decoration with a stylized manufacturer's logo. Deep, profiled finger undercut (fore finger groove) improves grip security. At the top, the protruding section of the tango contains a lanyard hole, a hole for threading a safety or decorative cord.
