Description: Antique La Tausca necklace presentation box. Very pleasantly tactile gray velvet exterior with a creamy ivory-colored interior: velvet on the bottom, satin on the lid, embossed in gold: "La Tausca trade mark Pearls". This had been covered up by a little gold paper label, which peeled right off. Long! Measures 12 5/8" inches long, 2 1/2" wide and 15/16" high. Push button closure. I believe this one dates to the 1920s - the La Tausca name was used from 1915 to 1956, but looking at old ads, this logo appears to be an earlier one. Showing its age as you can see from the photos, but with these old jewelry boxes, that is an important part of their appeal, no? Dimpled inside from years of service. Its length will make finding a box for this very awkward so this ships in a padded envelope via your choice of service. It is sturdy, but I will first wrap it with some cardboard and cushioning just in case. Whenever possible, I ship same or next day, so that you can receive your item as quickly as possible.
