Boards and spine are straight. Backstrip reglued but somewhat imperfectly as marbled end sheets are lacking (marbled paste downs present) and gutter visible at front and rear of book. Front white end sheet crease (with frontispiece verso) , mostly detached handwritten name. Otherwise, binding itself is tight. Thumbing to title page. Pages are toned with modest thumbing but in very good condition.
