Description: Vintage and unique Lot of 4 USO Black and White Publicity Press Photos (3)plus Signed Letter to woman pictured in photo from USO Public Relations Dept. dated August 1949. Also includes original envelope (not pictured). Photos measure 8 x10" and feature a young woman from SC being musically serenaded and enjoying a shared beverage (no social distancing) with two servicemen to help promote the USO. The letter on USO letterhead thanks the woman for her assistance and awkwardly tries to compliment her looks in photos. Can't imagine she wasn't insulted by the wording. But it's a great addition to this collection. Do not know identities of two gents. Back of two of the photos have stamp.
