Description: 1942/43 RARE VINTAGE MINTY M1 RIFLE STOCK. THIS STOCK HASONE MINOR CRACK NEAR THE FOREARD SADDLE IN FRONT OF HOUSING INLET, 653 RACK NUMBER! NO REBUILD MARKINGS, AND NO REPAIRS, NEVER RESANDED OR REFINISHED. MINIMAL HANDLING MARKS AND DENTS ARE PRESENT BUT NOTHING SUBSTANTIAL OUT OF THE WOOD. SOME APPEAR TO BE REAR SIGHT PINION INDENTATIONS. REMNANTS OF COSMOLINE ARE PRESENT. SHARP EDGE TO THE PISTOL GRIP, THE CROSSED CANNONS AND FIRING PROOF ARE VERY CLEAR THO LIGHTLY STAMPED, THE CARTOUCHE IS CLEAR. THE CLIP LATCH TAIL INLET IS "SCOOPED" INDICATING EARLY PRODUCTION FROM APRIL 1942 TO ABOUT EARLY MARCH 1943. AGAIN, STOCK HAS NEVER BEEN SANDED OR REFINISHED. BEAUTIFUL GRAIN AND FIGURE, PICS DO NOT DO JUSTICE.
