Description: 19TH CENTURY SAND-GLAZED MAJOLICA VASE BARBOTINE FLOWERS GOLD TRIM 5-3/4" (AS IS) This is an antique barbotine sand/salt glazed majolica vase with flowers and leaves. This type of glazed majolica was made starting in mid-19th century (1850-1900's). The vase is 5-3/4" tall, approximately 3-1/2" wide (at widest), and has a single handle. Design is on front side only. This vase is pre-owned and in good antique-age condition - no cracks or crazing that I can see. Parts of the flower petals and leaves have been broken.
