Its obverse side contains the portrait of Chinggis Khan, the national coat of arms, the commemorative stamp, and a paiza (gerege)—a tablet of authority for the Mongol officials to demand goods and services from the civilian population. Its reverse side depicts the image of the inner square of the ancient city of Kharkhorin. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized MONGOLBANK and a watermark of Chinggis Khan with an electrotype Cyrillic bank initials.
