The 2-piece writing set is 925 Sterling plated in 18kt yellow gold. Velvet interior. The box is like brand new with no tears or stains in box. Both ballpoint pen and mechnical pencil operate smoothly as you turn the top in order for the pen and pencil tips to come out. Both pieces have their serial #'s and have the 'Oscar Wilde' signature on them. Condition: Pre-owned but in great condition. The pen and pencil have been very well maintained with light usage if any. THE BALLPOINT PEN INK IS A BIT LOW SO DOES NEED TO BE REPLACED. IT WRITES BUT IT IS DEFINITELY AT A LOW INK LEVEL. THE PENCIL LED TIP IS STILL MORE THAN 1/2 WAY INTACT.
