Description: This is a brand new in the package mortise privacy lockset complete with Ultra brass finish door knobs with 5/16" threaded spindle. This is a privacy lockset which is good in bathrooms or bedrooms where you want the door to lock with a turn knob from the inside. This lockset does not use a key. The outside escutcheon plate has a small hole opposite the inside turn knob to insert a small screwdriver and unlock the door from the outside in emergency situations. This lockset has a door knob with a brass base and a brass finish handle. The knob diameter is 2 1/8" and projects 2 1/4". The escutcheon plates are 2 1/4" x 7". The mortise is 3 1/8" deep and 5/8" wide. The door plate is 5 1/2" long and 7/8" wide. The jamb plate is 3 7/8" x 7/8". This lockset comes complete with screws. This lockset is for replacement of mortise style locks, it will not fit a door that has a predrilled 2 1/8" hole.
