Description: Musical Animated Cuckoo Clock From The German Black Forest - READ - This genuine German Black Forest chalet style cuckoo clock is highly detailed and beautifully carved - Clock case is made entirely of hand carved wood and features a woman with an umbrella and a man with an accordian- This clock is in excellent original condition with no breakage or damage and only some light age related wear- This is a fully mechanical weight driven clock- This clock features a 1-day brass movement which is in working somewhat but in need of a service- I had the clock running for about an hour reliably before I stopped it and it did run and keep time during that test but could use a cleaning and lubrication of the movement- The cuckoo bird calls on the hour as it should, but not on the half hour- The Swiss music box plays as the dancers rotate and spin on the hour but not on the half hour- The chains have some surface rust and one of the chains is missing its round eye at the bottom to prevent it from slipping into the clock- Overall, the clock is due for a service and some repair and is being sold as is for this reason- This clock measures about 11" Tall, 9-1/2" Wide, and 6" Deep (Measurements include the marquee on top but do not include the weights or pendulum when attached) This cuckoo clock is in good condition with some light wear. It ran and cuckooed on the hour and the music played on the hour when tested, but it does not cuckoo or play music on the half hour as it should.
