A 1-mil stylus tip is available as an optional accessory. The 1-mil stylus tip is capable of reproducing powerful sounds with thick mid-bass tones. In the era when monaural recordings were the norm (mid-1940s to mid-1950s), record playback with a 1mil stylus tip was the norm.
