The lower gearing torque provided by this sprocket will make the GC very responsive for one up Sports riding and able to better haul heavy loads like passenger and luggage. Made in the USA with quality that is as good or better than the other leading makes and sold at a very competitive price. The hub length has been increased so that the sprocket makes maximum contact with the transmission countershaft spline. This ensures the sprocket is capable of high loads and minimizes the wear on the countershaft by reducing the load at the sprocket tooth to spline tooth contact point and by minimizing wobble of the sprocket on the shaft.The thrust washer, PN 0670.16.172 is not needed with this sprocket. Available in 14, 15, and 16 tooth configurations. There is also a quick change " E Clip" type retainer available to replace the OEM retainer PN 0670.16.105 and its bolts PN 8A000.67997.
