Source1 is the OEM source for all parts used in York, Coleman, Evcon, and Luxaire HVAC equipment. This valve is designed for all furnace model #s starting with DGAT/DGAA/DLAS & More. It has an 1/2" inlet on the left and then discharges the gas through the back. Flip a brass fitting on the vavle to convert it from NAT gas to LP gas. It replaces the old part numbers listed below. Function: The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.
