Written on back looks to be "John Salvage I do not want this coppyed if you ? get as good done from the other if not take from this and take both boys" The paper holder is embossed and appears to read "Patent March 7, 1965" but it is really hard to tell for sure. I have taken photos in various light conditions. The brighter ones were taken in front of the window.
