Description: Genuine Omega Constellation 18K Solid Gold Case with Pie Pan Dial Automatic “Chronometer” Watch assumed model 2842 from late 50’s, comes with vintage Omega Box, not original to this watch, and new travel pouch. The watch has dauphine hands, Acrylic Crystal, gold color with nice light patina and it was pointed out to me by a watchmaker timepiece was processionally refinished at some point. This Connie watch is a rare find! The watch case, 18K solid yellow gold measures 35mm, not including the crown. Again, the Gold Pie Pan dial with dauphine markers and hands is in nice condition with light patina reflecting its age. It comes on a quality genuine leather strap (not Omega) and a 14K solid gold vintage buckle. The Omega observatory fairly shows on case back and this watch features Omega Chronometer Automatic hammer type movement ref. Cal. 354 17 Jewels, running and keeping fair time. This is a Very rare Vintage Omega Constellation watch for a Collector who wants an “iconic” timepiece in the collection. It is a Swiss Made timepiece, which continues to be a popular watch among Vintage Watch collectors. There are very light hairlines scratches to the case, exceptional condition for the age.
