Description: This original rare to find, Civil War era, purse is quite lovely. It is featuring a paisley fabric (probably wool because it is sturdy and there are No holes) that is seriously decorated with tiny steel beads that is mounted to a steel frame. Everything about this purse is excellent condition; including the silk lining. I have not found any beads to be missing. One side seems to be a bit brighter shade, I attribute that to the paisley weave. Measures 3 3/4" across x 5" high meeting the bottom of the frame. The chain is 8" long and the loop fringe is 1" long. Please ask questions before bidding or making an offer. Have a great day.
