It is difficult to see but it is stamped on the bottom on the front side, near the very bottom edge, at six o clock, is marked '800' which is sometimes called German Silver, as it means 800 parts of 1000 are pure Silver, compared to Sterling Silver, which is 925 parts of 1000. If you look really close at the scan you can see it on the ebay scan
