These photographs come from a large collection of near pristine photos, all well-protected, and housed in a safe for many years. In many instances, the collector has added notes or research for the photos (as shown, if available). These are 10" x 8" This photo is from the Gemini 12 capsule by James Lovell after Buzz Aldrin attached a tether from their capsule to the Agena satellite. It was taken with a Hasselblad 70 mm camera. It bears the red numbers s66-62794.The spacecraft is seen over the Southwestern US, including Arizona and New Mexico, and the painted desert.The Agena Station was about that 50 feet away when this picture was taken.This is one of a series of Gemini 12 photos that are rarely seen, and they come directly from a photo developer's collection. They are basically uncirculated. This is an original NASA-issued chromogenic photograph, printed on thick fibre-based paper, and watermarked “A Kodak Paper.” There is official NASA red-numbering on the front. This is the most valuable and desired version of this photo. ConditionOverall, the piece is in excellent condition, free of concerns. There are no creases, bends, fingerprints, or other concerns. All four corners are reasonably crisp, one corner has a faint bend (as shown), nothing that distracts. The colors are correct and unfaded.
