If your ostomy pouch leakage occurs most frequently during physical activity or movement, you may need additional support in the form of an ostomy belt. 5. Make sure you’re emptying or changing out your pouch The fuller your ostomy bag gets, the more it weighs down and pulls against the seal around your stoma.
