Description: Add a touch of elegance to your home with this stunning pair of vintage boudoir lamps. Crafted with clear floral-etched glass and brass bottoms, each lamp features a bell-shaped shade and a beautiful sets of glittery hand cut prisms flouncing around the bottom. I would put the stile at Hollywood regency, but they are elegant and glamorous. The corded pair are knob controlled under the glass shade. Standing at 17 3/4 inches to the top of the shade, these lamps are stately and elegant, perfect for any room in the house. The design is original and from the 1940s. Each lamp stands approximately 17” to the top of the shade (more about the shade later) and the square base is 6” by 6”. The base of the lamp is beautifully enhanced with a long thick column of etched glass. Both the base and the column feature a floral etched motif. The top of the lamp is graced with fabulous tingly hand cut prisms, 20 on each lamp. (These will be packed individually and carefully) Now about the shade: I’m not sure it’s original, it came with the lamps and complements them beautifully. The control for off/on sits under the shade which is curious to me, however, they work beautifully together. These lamps are perfect for the collectors of lovely objects and will enhance your decor immeasurably. They are in excellent vintage condition but will need additional cleaning probably. All of my finds are from antique Estates so one should expect a baseline of use commensurate with the age. If there are major issues, I will disclose accordingly.
