Previous owner's bookplate and inscription in the front, dated 1891. The page with the poem "Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard" contains a small yew twig, marked Stoke Poges Churchyard, Sept 3 1902. Bookseller's sticker on endpapers, W.B. Clarke of Boston. Hardback book. 6.5" x 4.25". 346 pages, plus a couple of pages of advertisements for other books. Weight 260g. Condition: Victorian book, in fairly good readable condition, but not perfect. Pages are clean and tidy. Original owner's name, bookplate etc in the front. Covers are scuffed, with some damage at the top, bottom and middle of the spine, as shown.
