Description: Beautiful 13" Wooden Jointed doll in a Wooden Display case with handmade background. This is a gorgeous doll that dates back to the late 1800s or Very early 1900s. They are very rare. It was purchased by my parents in the 1990s at a local Vermont estate auction. She is in excellent condition - see below. Every detail about this piece is just fantastic. She is jointed at the shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. Excellent gently displayed condition - it looks like this doll was never played with - she has been in this box since long before my family owned her. We purchased her at a local doll auction in Vermont in the 1990s. Her clothes have some age spots on the white parts - see photos. Her body is in excellent condition - very little paint wear - some of the face color shows some variation in color - I believe from age. She comes in a wooden box and has been there for many years - since long before we owned her. The box shows some wear scratches/paint/stain loss - see photos.
