Description: RARE Antique Homer Laughlin White Hotel Round Sugar Bowl Dish with Lid and Double Gargoyle Faces Rare Antique Homer Laughlin Hotel China Hotel Ware White Round Hotel Sugar with lid and with the double gargoyle / masked faces on the side as handles! This is a very sturdy and thick piece! Would make for cool accent home decor piece, Halloween themed candy dish, a stash jar or spooky season decor. This round hotel style sugar was originally featured in the 1907 Homer Laughlin Company General Catalog Hotel China Ware line. This piece is from somewhere between 1907-1914 per the backstamp. This piece could also be used for for mustard, marmalade, sugar, jam, display piece, antique home decor, a stash jar or for the whitewear ironstone collector! No chips or cracks. Lid has a factory mold flaw on the top edge of the lid and some light under the glaze crazing, mostly on the underside of the lid along with some glaze stains on the top of the lid. on the lid The base has some age staining and glaze dark spots along the rim and side walls from factory production and age. White glaze is shiny and bright overall. Other factory production imperfections possible such as sand bumps, glaze pops, glaze misses - all normal factory production.
