Description: These rare antique pieces of Z S & CO Bavaria Orleans China which were manufactured in Germany by Zeh Scherzer and Company. The pattern's exquisite design and intricate details feature pink roses and green leaves with gold accents and a scalloped edge. They definitely add a touch of “shabby chic” to any dining table. They are marked with the backstamp used between 1880 and 1918. This china is over 100 years old and is in excellent condition taking that into consideration. There are no chips, cracks or crazing on these pieces. There is discussion about antique china leaching lead due to the processes used in its manufacture. I tested multiple pieces of this set with a reputable kit and found no evidence of the presence of lead. This is a listing of individual serving pieces in this pattern and not a full set.
