Description: This is a hand painted art artwork circa 1925 signed on the back side Miss Louise V Conrad Keokuk Iowa information I looked up was her birthdate was 1892 until 1975 and was known for ad arts studio this piece is just magnificent looking it is an art deco design for ponds face creams it shows a pretty flapper girl riding a horse jumping in the background if you notice the two lines that are on there looks to be may be a pencil line my assumption because I am more so of an advertising person the style of signs were common back in that time era to be a large cardboard folded sign where it would be a trifold piece and that’s my assumption of what this was trying to present very nice clean piece I do notice on the left bottom corner it has been bumped and what appears to be the paper that is on the top of the cardboard has a minor loss in a little bit of creasing there’s a little bit of a dark spot on the fence right at that edge as well if you have any questions please ask I am not truly really an art dealer I am more of an advertising dealer but also where that trifold areas at it looks like they got a little carried away with their cutter and it did cut into the center section you would see this above the T in the word the great looking products on here I wish I knew more about the lady artist I’ve never seen this sign before but I have seen photos of the products with those labels on them . truly a beauty this piece is almost 100 years old . it’s on a cardboard with what appears to be a paper on the top . Also this might be of importance I noted this is watercolor but I got a Tell you I have no clue if it’s really watercolor or not I would’ve thought if it was oil it would’ve been shiny . on the backside whatever art board was used it did say it was for watercolor and something Measures aprox 10 x 14 ” . . super eye catching color and graphics . .
