Description: ACTION GAMES AND TOYS LTD (later Action GT) SHARP SHOOTER GAME ABOUT: This is a super rare 1970s game by Action Games and Toys Ltd (who went on to be renamed "Action GT" in the 80s). Its obviously very closely based on Ideal/ MB Games's Crossfire game, and you wonder if this was officially licensed! It uses the same gun mechanism to fire small metal balls, but the main difference here is that you are aiming for a large plastic ball rather than the puck of the Crossfire game. The game is complete and in great working order. Both guns work well, and the exterior of the board is all in good condition. Even the goals and frame are fully complete, with the scoring piece/ slider (often missing). The outer game box is pretty good, with the usual signs of wear on the corners etc. The original main ball is included, and 13 of the original metal balls, and 27 modern replacements of the identical size (so 40 in total). We have only seen 1 other of these games "in the flesh" in over 10 years (and that had quite a bit of damage, unlike this example), and there are very few pics on the net of them. If you like old 70s games, this is definitely one to grab as we doubt you'll see another in the near future.
