These clocks are available in the original color for the hands and numbers OR your choice of our available colors These clocks are genuine vintage in age, averaging approximately 65 years old, and were built in the 1950s era. Bugsy’s Dad Enterprises has brought this timepiece back to a nearly new appearance using a painstaking restoration process that we have developed and includes disassembly, cleaning, inspection, parts replacements as needed, reassembly, re-bonding the glass crystal, refinishing/sealing the gold surfaces, and finally, an extended operational test for accuracy and quiet operation. Each clock receives a new, factory motor, new properly-rated power cord and a cord restraint collar for additional safety. We clean and polish the plastic base plate, apply new felt furniture glides, and affix tasteful labels with the Owner's name (or short phrase of your choice) and the manufacture date or era, if known. The photographs on this listing showcase our quality of work and unwavering attention to detail. Once your order is placed, we will customize the clock to your specifications of hand and number color, complete the assembly process and conduct a detailed final inspection. This is followed by a multi-day final operational test. Any issues noted during the final assembly and test process will be fully addressed prior to shipping. The Glow-in-the-Dark color is available at an additional charge due to the meticulous and lengthy labor to apply the paint ( in multiple coats) and and the high cost of the premium Glow-in-the-Dark paint we use. Our small, disabled veteran-owned business is located in the Berkshire Mountain region of Western Massachusetts. As retired seasoned citizens, with grown adult children, our home has adequate space to support our small business. Clock Preparation and Shipping Times Due to the variety of our options and other production or quality factors, it is not technically possible to have clocks ready for immediate shipment like other consumer products that can be held in bulk inventory. The clocks you purchase are assembled, finished, and tested by hand, one at a time, just as they were originally made in the Jefferson factory, that used little or no automation. These factors, taken together, require a normal delivery time of 3-4 calendar weeks following purchase. This, of course, depends largely on our order backlog at the time of your purchase. In comparison, purely mechanical (wind-up) clocks or watches often take months to repair in a specialized repair shop. We are committed to avoiding time-saving, unprofessional shortcuts in the preparation of your clock. Every step of our process is performed scrupulously to meet our high business standards.
