RL Allan ESV Classic Reference Bible-Dark Red

Description: Up for auction is a “Like New” condition R.L. Allan ESV Bible-2016 Classic Reference Edition in dark red goatskin leather. This is a “premium” Bible published by Crossway but bound by Allan Binding by Ludlow. Please read the FULL item description as it will answer all of your questions. The goatskin leather is in very good condition, with no scratches or deformities that I can see on the front, insides, or back. Please note that this leather is “floppy” and has generous yapp to protect the pages. Each goatskin leather cover is unique and natural; the leather is supposed to “look the way it looks” because each animal is unique in appearance. The pages-as far as I can see-are very clean with little to no tears, rips, bends, etc. I have never written, underlined, colored, highlighted, etc. anything in this Bible. However, keep in mind that I acquired this Bible from someone else before me! Although I have never really used this, someone else before me may have or have not used it. But from all that I can see, it is almost pristine. The lined paper at the back of the Bible is clean and there are no notes, no writing. Perfect for whoever wants to acquire it! Please note this edition does NOT contain maps and Christ’s words are in red. This is center-column reference. The ESV text edition is 2016. There are 3 nice blue ribbon markers that come with this Bible. Please note in the photos that these ribbon markers are starting to get worn and are fraying at their tips. The pages are red with gold gilding. The gold gilding is mostly intact. However there are some minor “page scratches” or marks that appear visible on the gilding. But the yapp has done a mostly good job of keeping the gilding clean. The text block is almost like new. The presentation/marriage/family record/deaths pages are all clean and have not been filled out. Now, I do not know what specific “edition” or “number” or “series” this binding belongs to. All I know is what I have told you. What “series” of Allan ESV Bibles this belongs to-I am not the one to know.
