Description: Severus Alexander, the first of the Severan Emperors reigned from 193-211 AD. The reverse depicts Homonoia standing left, holding patera above a lit altar. The reverse legend lists the city but I haven't found this variety (exact lettering) in any sources so far, so it may be rare. Anchialus is now the modern city of Pomorie in Bulgaria on the Black Sea coast. NGC Ungraded, I'd think VG/F maybe. Please see photos, they are hard to photograph as they are dark and encased inside plastic. The reverse seems better than the obverse, but some letters of legend on both sides are legible.
