Editor John W. Campbell, Jr., discovered and promoted great new writers such as A.E. Van Vogt, whose novel Slan was one of the works of the era. This book was purchased from a private collection and is in good condition. The first page has a name written in pen on the bottom right hand corner. The covers and edges have wear with color loss. The covers have discoloration, scratches, scuffs, and general wear. The spine has discoloration with rub marks on the edges and light creasing in-between. The interior pages are discolored with no writing (other than mentioned), tears, or other major damage.
