Very well built (heavy gauge metal) and will crack the two hardest nuts that I know of (black walnuts and macadamia nuts). Doesn't require lubrication like some other ones out there. Will accommodate any nut 1-3/4" down to 5/8". The first one I made has cracked well over 4000 (wall mounted) nuts and will last many years, if not a lifetime. Requires minimal adjusting, and adjusts easily. No maintenance required. Instructions included. Adapter mounts on to the platen for small nuts. Can mount on wall (without Tabletop Adapter) and used as wall mounted. Has minimal protrusion (2 inches). Used as table top, mounted on board (not included) 1"×6"×22" on table. Built with pride.
