Description: Tanaka Ryohei Japanese Etching, 1977 (Title Unknown) This print is a very nice, small etching of a well-known Japanese artist. Number 83 of 100 limited edition prints. Unlike earlier woodblock print processes, Ryohei designed his images, etched his plates, and printed each single etching himself. Ryohei's etchings are held in public collections the world over. The etching is in perfect condition and measures 4"x5 3/4". The silver frame is 9 1/2'x11" with a 2" mat. The only disclosure that needs to be made is that of a tear in the paper backing on the frame which in no way affects the appreciation of the art. This work has had one owner who purchased it in Japan 1977.
