Description: The Catcher in the Rye 1st Edition 3rd Printing JULY 1951 J.D. Salinger. CONDITION DETAILS: Very nice condition for the age. Spine lettering is nice. Binding is strong. No cracks on inside covers. I found a page with a smudge and light stain and another page with a light smudge, but otherwise pages are crisp and clean throughout. One page has a small corner pinch crease. One of the flyleaf pages has a small dot. Minor scuffing on cover. Missing dust jacket. I have tried to capture the flaws I found in the images, but keep in mind there may be something small I missed. Overall, a very rare nice collectible edition of this classic work.
