Description: This is a full 34 volume set of the Collected Works of Winston Churchill - the Centenary Edition. The collection was published to mark the centenary of Churchill’s birth, November 30, 1874. The collection is issued as a limited edition and contains all 50 of Churchill’s published titles, arranged in 34 volumes. Only 2000 sets were published in the former British Empire, and an additional 1000 sets were published for North America. This set is numbered 111 as seen on a book plate in the front of each volume. Please note that volume 21 of the set does not have the book plate found in the other 33 volumes. The books bound in a white full vellum and have gilded edges with green marbled endpapers. Each volume has its own green slipcase box with a gold emblem of Churchill’s coat of arms. All volumes are in near fine condition. Items will ship 1-5 days after payment via FedEx ground or USPS.
