There is significant wear to the gold edge. There is a lot of gold loss of the rim. The gold has a darker hue in certain areas I did try and photograph this. The piece the plate rests on does have some staining but it is minor and all photographed. Some areas of gold are darker than the brighter areas. There is some gold and blue color loss on the front of this plate. It is pictured
