Description: Vintage Creepy Twin DollsRe-Vamped '70s vinyl/hard plastic "Hi Dottie" 18" DollsThey both have eerily-painted faces, wild hair with black ribbons, and they are costumed in somewhat tattered vintage doll clothes These dolls were first painted white all over, and then their faces were detailed and their hair was teased out. The paint on the faces and torsos dried fine, but the paint on the legs and arms retained a slightly tacky feel even after drying for several days (the paint does not come off on your hands when you touch it--it just still has a slightly still-sticky feel to it). I don't know if it's a case of the arms and legs being a different type of vinyl/plastic, as the same paint was used all over--I am just guessing that may be why, as I'm not a paint expert and can't say for sureSo, both dolls were given a pair of black tights, which solved the legs issue as they are now covered, and long-sleeved dresses which cover up the arms, but the hands remain a bit tacky to the touch. As I don't have the time or skills to fix these dolls up, I am putting them up for sale, hoping a doll artist or repair person can fix the paint issue and may even give them some spookier clothes or something?
