Description: I AM OFFERING FOR SALE AN UNMATCHED PAIR of Antique Vintage 7/8" HOLLOW & ROUND PLANES Inv#CF135W Here we have a pair (not matching makers) of 7/8" hollow & round planes. One is marked Greenfield Tool Co and one is marked H. Wells on toe. Greenfield has owner name several times, H. Wells is marked with the No.12 On the heel. The cutters are pitted but both have cleaned up nicely, the round measures 6-7/8" x 7/8", the hollow measures: 7-1/4" x 7/8" W. They feel sharp but I would suggest sharpening to bring them back to optimal use. The wedges are original. The planes have typical scars, nicks & stains. They are ready to go for another 100 years...very good pair of hollow & round users.
