Description: This vintage USSR Banner was made in Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic in 1960s. It was awarded to the Food Industry Enterprise, which won the first place in Ukrainian Republican Socialist Competition. On the front it has portrait of Lenin and the writing in Ukrainian language ''Under the guidance of the Communist party we are moving ahead to the victory of Communism''. Portrait of Lenin is COMPLETELY HAND EMBROIDERED (it is very intricate embroidery); to see this amazing work you need to look on the Lenin's face, mustache, his eyes under strong magnifying glass!!!!!! All letters and leaves around Lenin's portrait are also embroidered (see details). On the backside it has embroidered writing in Ukrainian language ''From Ministry of Food Industry of Ukraine and Ukrainian Trade Union of the Food Industry to the winner of Socialist Republican Competition''. It is made out of two layers of heavy velvet. It has nice fringes from three sides. Size is 66x50'' (without fringes). Extremely rare piece. Excellent vintage condition.
