The hallmarks date it to somewhere before 1968. This ring has an amazing presence on the hand--it will NOT go unnoticed--it has that true "cocktail ring" look and feel, at a nice heavy 6.9 grams. The ring features a vibrant red 10 x 8 mm (2.75 ct) emerald-cut "created" ruby (definitely NOT glass but there are no inclusions--it tests positive for ruby on the gem tester) in the center, with reflective white gold surrounding it. It is accented by 18 prong-set white quartz stones, which create a halo around it. All of this is set in a sturdy basket mounting--see the side view--there's a lot of gold here. Total weight is approximately 3.00 ct in ruby and quartz. The ring face measures 5/8" and it rises 3/8" off the hand. It is hallmarked 750 for 18k gold, and Italian hallmarks as well. It weighs 6.9 grams, is a size 7.5, and can be sized by any competent jeweler. This ring is in very fine vintage condition. DISPLAY BOX IN PHOTOS IS NOT INCLUDED.
