Description: Poor Mrs Snowman. Her husband went missing many years ago. But she doesn't seem to upset by it. Look at that cute, smiling face. This Shafford salt shaker was made in the 1950s in Japan. She was part of a set with a Mr Snowman who is missing. The flat side on her back is where she nestled against her husband. This piece was packed up in 1964 and carefully stored for the last 60 years and only recently discovered. So Mrs Snowman is in excellent, mint condition with no chips, cracks, or discoloration. There is some minor crazing, but that's to be expected with a piece of this age. She has a gloss finish and the colors are still vibrant. The bottom shows the Shafford name. The cork is still intact. She is 4.5" tall and 2" wide. A fun accent to a tiered tray, shelf, or mantle for holiday decorating. Or use her for her intended purpose and put salt or pepper in her.
