What I do know is that during this era niche brands commonly used parts that were available to them. Without knowing the history of this nearly 50 year old watch I can't say with certainty if it was born in this particular configuration or not. If you wouldn't be happy with it in precisely the condition and configuration described and shown in this listing then it's clearly not for you. Additionally it is midsized, measuring approximately 32.5 mm excluding the crown, approximately 36 mm including the crown and approximately 17.5 mm between the lugs.***********This seldom seen vintage 1975 Titoni Airmaster Titoflex has a satin silver "Swiss" only signed dial that is in lovely but not perfect condition as it shows wear. The lume on the hands, which no longer glows after being exposed to bright light, has aged gracefully. The paint on the red seconds hand remains vibrant. The midsize all stainless steel case shows honest wear with no signs of oxidation. The outer edge of the snap case back is stamped "STAINLESS STEEL SWISS MADE WATERPROOF INCABLOC ANTIMAGNETIC" with "COMPRESSOR" and what looks like "9700" stamped in the center. The inside of the case back is stamped "3-75." The crystal shows scratching.The 17 jewels Swiss FHF-ST 97 manual wind movement is clean and keeps accurate time. After recently winding the sharply threaded non-screwdown cross-hatched crown 21 full revolutions the movement had an approximate 37 hour power reserve. Given that this watch is more than 45 years old, that the case back gasket has deteriorated and considering the movement's unknown service history (there are no visible watchmaker service markings on the inside of the case back or on the movement) a complete overhaul is likely long overdue and recommended.This watch measures approximately 32.5 mm excluding the crown, approximately 36 mm including the cross-hatched crown and approximately 17.5 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the mid-case, is approximately 6 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 9 mm.Given the vintage nature of this watch, that the case back gasket has deteriorated and considering the movement's unknown service history a complete overhaul is recommended.
