Description: Amazing experienced block print caftan, made in Pakistan. 100% cotton. Scoop neck, angel sleeves. Unable to read the maker on the tag, but I can read the fabric content, size, and country of origin. Hand crafted, with most of the major seams being machine stitched. The hem, neckline and underarms are stitched by hand (needle and thread). At least 1970's, very likely earlier. Well loved. Closes at neck back with hook and eye. Slightly irregular hem, hardly noticeable, also hand sewn, just adds to the character and story. 2 separate spots at hem where something (nail polish?) was spilled or splashed. I have not attempted to remove these spots for fear of damaging the fabric, and because you don't notice them unless you're looking for them. Dress has been very gently hand washed.
