Description: Vintage ALPHA, Cal. ETA 1686, Swiss, 17 Jewels Manual Wind, Ca. 1950’s, New Old Stock with Box and Guarantee Paper, Working. The movement is clean and working. Stamped on the movement is: Brenzikofer & Company SA, 17 Jewels, Swiss. The stainless steel case is in mint condition and measures: 39.30mm from lug to lug and 33.05mm not including the crown. Outside caseback is stamped: Shock Protected, All Stainless Steel, Antimagnetic and the # 1918. The emerald green sunburst dial, silver hour markers and hands and all lettering are in mint condition. The rare green dial is original to the watch and not a REPOP MUMBAI SPECIAL. The crystal is in mint condition. The stainless steel bracelet the watch came on is stamped: Adjustable, All Stainless Steel and comes with extra links. The watch comes in the original ALPHA watch box, guarantee and tags. This is a vintage watch without service records. I cannot guarantee the accuracy, longevity or waterproofing and should be serviced by a competent watchmaker.
