Description: Here's a nice example of Barbie's travel costume, Barbie in Holland! This outfit was only available in 1964, so it's a little harder to find. This Excellent and complete outfit will look great on display, as it is clean and bright. This costume includes blouse with embroidery on a clear plastic dress form, striped skirt, white apron, Dutch style hat, white cotton hose, rubber clogs, and a 2 sided copy of the travel brochure. Everything here is original vintage Mattel, except for the reproduction paper brochure. I don't grade anything as "Mint" unless I've just taken it out of the original packaging. I've collected vintage Barbie for 30+ years, and I scrutinize items I sell on eBay. If you have a question that I haven't answered in my description, please ask me:). You may want to save me as a seller, as I'm listing a large vintage Barbie collection on eBay. The brilliant blue blouse is clean with intact snaps and bright color; the lace edging on the top looks good. The striped skirt also is clean with good body to the fabric and an intact snap at the waist. The white apron looks nice, it could use a little press as it's slightly wrinkled. The Dutch style hat has an intact wire at the front edges; the hat is a shade more off-white than the apron is, but I think it will still look nice on display. Barbie's cotton hose are also slightly off-white; they have a pinhole in one hose near the seam, see pics #1-3. Since the hole is near the hose's back seam, that shouldn't show on display. The rubber clogs don't have any tears. The repro travel brochure looks nice and bright; it is a nice 2-sided copy. Your favorite Barbie will look adorable in Barbie in Holland!
