Description: Offered here is the September 1984 issue of COMPUTE Magazine in very good used condition. We subscribed to this back when we got our first Vic-20. It was the source of early computer information for our boys (ages 10 and 13) and offered an early computer education. Each issue of this magazine included programs that the reader could type and then run on the computer. it taught them computer language of the time and how to check for entry errors if they didn't run. And yes, even we adults enjoyed learning along with them. The magazine is filled with ads relative to the 1980s. It's amazing (and at times amusing) to see how computers today compare to computers 40 years ago. At the time, students would find it unimaginable to see what today's computers accomplish. (NOTE: In case you're wondering, we still have the Vic-20, its tv monitor, cables, adapters, and the tape recorder used to run the programs.) This issue of COMPUTE Magazine is being sold on ebay with the following guidelines:1. Shipping is via the USPS Media Mail service and only to locations in the 50 states of the USA. 2. Payment is to be made within three days of purchase. Please look at the photos with this listing, and feel welcome to ask questions before you bid. I'll do my best to answer promptly. Thanks for taking the time to look at this listing.
