Description: This listing is for a vintage hand-wrought sterling silver serving bowl made in Peru by Welsch. This piece is 11 7/8" long, 6 1/4" wide and 2 1/2" tall. It is made of heavy gauge silver weighing 21.59 troy ounces. This hand-crafted piece has the charm of slight imperfections and visible tool marks. It is also not perfectly oval and is a bit wider at one end than it is at the other. It is hallmarked on the bottom Welsch, Peru, a Llama inside of a square, Esterlina (for sterling), Plata (for silver) and Amano (for hand-made). Very good, vintage, used condition with no distracting dings or dents but does have light surface scratches from use, polishing and storage. I have lightly polished this piece but it could use a more thorough polishing. Please see all pictures for details.
