Description: Up for sale is a vintage early model Mitchell 300 spinning reel, made in France. This second version of the reel features an unusual half bail design. The reel is in good working condition and has been well-maintained. As you can see in the photos, it could benefit from some better cleaning, and the cap is missing from the knob on the crank. However, the odd half bail design and the anti-backlash switch work perfectly. It would make a great addition to any vintage fishing collection. The serial number has a bad strike and is very hard to read, especially the first few digits. My best guess is C (or 0 or 6) 36471.
